Over the years, Handicap International has developed considerable expertise and a wide range of activities for adressing the essential needs of people, improving their living conditions and promoting respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.

In order to communicate more effectively on the diversity of our activities, which are not confined to support dor people with disabilities, we are changing our international network’s operating name from Handicap International to Humanity & Inclusion (HI) and adopting a new logo. These changes will come into effect on 24th January 2018.

The new name of our International network expresses one of our organisation’s central values and humanity. This value is reflected in the benevolent and empathic approach we bring to out actions, the proximity we establish with the beneficiaries of our programmes and our respect for each person’s individuality.

Our legal name, on the other hand, is not changing. It will continue to be Handicap International Federation. Consequently, our by-laws and purpose will not be affected by the change in the operating name; Nor will it in any way affect the nature of the missions and activities.
