The Germany Ambassador to Rwanda Peter Fahrenhortz has said he wants to bring Germany Business people to invest in Rwanda.
Fahrenhortz noted that he is waiting for Rwanda government to specify opportunities available for German Businesses.
Ambassador Fahrenhortz was January 16, speaking to Journalists shortly after meeting Prime Minister Dr. Pierre Damien Habumuremyi.
“One thing I would want to do is to bringing in Germany Business people to invest in Rwanda while at the same time creating employments and they would produce tax revenues.” Fahrenhortz pledged.
He added, “I am just a diplomat and I am not economist so I need the expert to tell me where they need investments and then once I have information about where there are possibilities for Germany Companies I can talk to Germany Business associations and I could make details for Rwanda and then I could ask them to come here and talk to government of Rwanda.” He said.
He added that Rwanda is among huge potential for the future in East African Community .
