League champions Rayon Sports FC have signed Ally Niyonzima from arch-rival Mukura Victory Sports Club.
Olivier Gakwaya Rayon head of communication has confirmed the news saying the player will assist club during the Caf Champions Tournament. He has signed a two-year contract deal
Ally is now our player without any question about it; we have finalized the deal with Mukura VS. Signing his does not mean any player from the club who wishes to leave is not free transfer to any club of his choice especially Fabrice Mugheni who is alleged to join AS Kigali.
“We want have many players who are capable of performing because we shall feature in several competitive tournaments. We have opened talks with Fabrice. KakuleMugheni,Thierry ManziBakame and others to see that we can renew their contracts.” Gakwaya explained
Niyonzima joins other new signings by the Rayon that include: Eric Rutanga from APR fc, YoussoufHabimana from Mukura, Saddam Nyandwi from Espoir fc and Gilbert Mugisha who is alleged to leave relegated side Pépinière fc.
The club has lost Dominique SavioNshuti who joined AS Kigali last week, Gakwaya has also said that they are not in rush to replace Coach JumaMasudi who surprisingly left the club after leading them to the 8th league title this season.
