Rwanda Ministry of Disaster Management and Refugee Affairs announced Tuesday that about 163 Rwandans are to be repatriated from Both DRCongo and Uganda.
About 108 refugees from DRC forests are expected today in Nkamira Camp located in Rubavu while other 55 refugees will come from Uganda via Gatuna Border.
Within 3 days refugees from Uganda are expected to camp at Rwanda Red Cross office located in Kigali and thereafter they will be facilitated to return to their respective families.
The returnees will receive food for 4 months.
As soon as returnees come to Rwanda, MIDIMAR in partnership with National Identity Authority will register them to obtain Identity Cards.
