4 FDLR Rebels Repatriated to Rwanda

The UN Mission in the DRC, MONUSCO, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) repatriated on November23, four Rwandan ex-rebels of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) and two civilians.

Among the four rebels, two of them came from Uvira, Mwega and the territory of Fizi in the Congolese province of South Kivu.

The combatants include Sergeant Innocent Ntakibanoza, Pascal Havugimana, Alexis Sinzayiheba and Jean Mutuyimana.

MONUSCO has also indicated that two Rwandan civilians were also repatriated.

One came from Lumbishi and other Luvungi still province of South Kivu.
