Another child’s body found in stream

Hardly two days after a body of a 12-year old boy was found in Rwampara marshland, Nyarugenge district, another body of a child identified as Niyonzima Claude, 6, has been found covered in debris in a water canal flowing near the football ground of APE Rugunga Secondary School in Ganza village, Kiyovu cell ,Nyarugenge sector of Nyarugenge in Kigali city.
The body has been seen today morning around 8:00 hours.

Hardly two days after a body of a 12-year old boy was found in Rwampara marshland, Nyarugenge district, another body of a child identified as Niyonzima Claude, 6, has been found covered in debris in a water canal flowing near the football ground of APE Rugunga Secondary School in Ganza village, Kiyovu cell ,Nyarugenge sector of Nyarugenge in Kigali city.

The body has been seen today morning around 8:00 hours.

The police spokesperson in Kigali city, Supt. Hitayezu Emmanuel has told IGIHE that they have retrieved the corpse from the water canal as soon as they received information and took it to police hospital in Kacyiru for postmortem.

“We sent a team to retrieve the body as soon as we were informed about the death and investigations are underway,” he said.
