Rwanda registers six more COVID-19 deaths, 415 new cases

The Ministry of Health has reported that six people succumbed to COVID-19 yesterday bringing the death toll to 1199. The deceased include one woman and five men.

The statement released last night shows that 415 people have caught the virus out of 9244 sample tests, nine recovered while 22 are critically ill.

A total of 1,315,206 people have been fully vaccinated while 1,834,747 received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation program on 5th March 2021.

Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing. The virus is said to be transmitted through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.

Rwandans are urged to adhere to COVID-19 health guidelines, washing hands frequently using soaps and safe water, wearing face masks and respecting social distancing.
