There are so many things that are responsible for dehydration in people. For instance, we lose water in the body when we cry, sweat, pee, breathe, and even spit or poop.
Other causes of dehydration include fever (due to the high temperature), diarrhea, vomiting, diabetes, and excessive sweating.
Before we go into how to prevent dehydration, let us first go into its symptoms. How do you know you’re dehydrated? There are a lot of us who have no idea when and how it happens, so we’ll talk about its symptoms.
The most common ones include, thirst, dry/sticky mouth, not peeing much, dark yellow urine, dry cool skin, headaches, muscle cramps, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, rapid breathing, sunken eyes, confusion, sleepiness, etc. If you experience any of those symptoms or more than just one of them, you should drink as much water as you can, and schedule an appointment with your doctor as quickly as possible.
Dehydration is dangerous, and can lead to death in extreme cases. That is why it’s advised that we take as much water as possible every time.
