About 429 students at Kigali Institute of Science and Technology Kigali graduated. Only 90 of them were female.
The Education Minister, Dr. Vincent Biruta urged the graduates to be competent and change Rwanda and the world adding that Rwanda will continue to support science schools.
He urged teachers and lecturers to lure more students into science courses to boost country’s development.
He told graduates to be entrepreneurs and employ others noting the skills they acquired are enough.
KIST rector, Dr Jeanne d’Arc Mujawamaliya, urged graduates to be part of change through knowledge they have acquired adding that to be more productive to society.
