From RTUC to Rwanda Toursim College

The former Rwanda Tourism University College above has change its name to Rwanda Tourism College (RTC).

This was revealed yesterday during a press conference held in Kigali.

About 426 students are expected to graduate at RTC for the first time today the 24th December, 2012.

According to Kabera Callixte, RTC rector, the College started operating in 2006 with 11 Lectures and now the number has increased up to 123 workers including 97 lecturers.

Students’ numbers have increased from 5 students in 2006 to 3134 today; about 768 students are based at Rubavu Campus.

Kabera noted that changing the name of the campus will not affect the quality of education that the college is delivering.
