Governor Musabyimana urges Gicumbi residents on hygiene

The Governor of Northern Province, Musabyimana Jean Claude has asked residents of Byumba sector, Gicumbi district to be exemplary in maintaining hygiene and preserve public assets in their vicinities.

The recently appointed governor made the call yesterday as he embarked on familiarization tours of the Province.

“.You are required to keep hygiene right from your bodies and households, to the keeping tidiness of the public infrastructures such as roads and others. I appreciate your efforts but you need to be committed to preserving the good achievements,” he said.

Governor Musabyimana asked them to take care of their children education and making a follow up of their daily lives.

Byumba residents asked the governor to assist in solving their matters which have been unaddressed for long including compensations deriving from court cases.The mayor of Gicumbi district, Mudaheranwa Juvenal said that people disrespecting court’s decisions will be taken before the law.

Governor Musabyimana replaced Bosenibamwe Aimé who led Northern Province for more than seven years.
