Benin First Lady Claudine Talon has lauded Madam Jeannette Kagame for her relentless efforts in taking care of children and mothers, promising to emulate practices of Imbuto Foundation. Madam Talon explained she was inspired by Imbuto Foundation achievements which prompted her to launch Fondation Claudine Talon an organization meant to promote welfare of mothers, children health and distributing safe water in her country.

She revealed this yesterday evening as she was officially welcomed by first lady Jeannette Kagame.

Madam Jeannette Kagame said it is of great pride to receive Madam Talon in Rwanda and commended Benin citizens running various activities in Rwanda.

“I hope this visit is the beginning of a new chapter between our countries and will take higher existing collaboration in sharing experience as developing countries,” she said.
Madam Claudine Talon said that it is a great pride for her to be in Rwanda and lauded members of Imbuto Foundation and Unity Club for warm welcome to her and the accompanying delegation.

“I want to tell you with president Kagame that you have a beautiful country. I want to congratulate you for increased development activities especially taking care of women and children. I also appreciate your leadership through Unity Club,” she said.

“I knew about you and the organization you incepted in 2012 when I was in activities of launching an organization too. I kept thinking about the project till dreams came true. I established Fondation Claudine Talon which started operating in July this year. It has two main objectives of taking care of mother, child health and distributing safe water in remote areas,” she said.

Madam Talon visit to Rwanda follows the recent one of her husband president of Benin Patrice Talon in August 2016.
