Man found dead on a kiln

A young man identified as Nshimiyimana Valens, 19, has been found dead on a kiln of charcoals in Banamba village, Rasano cell of Bweyeye sector in Rusizi district.
His body was found yesterday around 6:00 am.
One of the residents who arrived at the scene yesterday has told IGIHE that he saw the body laid on a kiln with filth of vomit.
“We have found the body on the top of the charcoal kiln. In front of him was vomit,” he said.

A young man identified as Nshimiyimana Valens, 19, has been found dead on a kiln of charcoals in Banamba village, Rasano cell of Bweyeye sector in Rusizi district.

His body was found yesterday around 6:00 am.

One of the residents who arrived at the scene yesterday has told IGIHE that he saw the body laid on a kiln with filth of vomit.

“We have found the body on the top of the charcoal kiln. In front of him was vomit,” he said.

The social affairs officer in Bweyeye sector, Rwasine Herimani has said that two people have been arrested as suspects following Nshimiyimana’s death.

“The body has been taken to Gihundwe hospital. So, we are waiting for autopsy outcomes. Two people who lived with him are suspects and have been arrested.They had some conflicts with the deceased. There is information that one of them had intention of stabbing the deceased with an axe.They have found cassava bread in front of the body but we can’t confirm it was vomited,” she said.

Nshimiyimana Valens was born in Kitabi sector of Nyamagabe district and lived in Bweyeye sector where he was a charcoal-burner.
