HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of thanks to President of the Republic of Rwanda, HE. Paul Kagame, following the official visit paid by the Sovereign to Rwanda.
"As I leave your country’s airspace, at the end of my official visit to the Republic of Rwanda, I would like to reiterate my sincere thanks and appreciation to you for the generous hospitality and warm welcome extended to me and my delegation," said HM the King in the message.
HM the King also expressed satisfaction with the constructive outcome of bilateral talks, "during which we shared similar views on various issues of common interest."
"I am also pleased with the fresh impetus this visit is likely to give to cooperation between our countries, given the important agreements we signed in numerous fields," the Sovereign added.
HM the King also reaffirmed firm determination to continue to work together with Rwanda’s President to further strengthen ties and build a renewed, model, strategic partnership, "which will enable us to fulfil our peoples’ aspirations, contribute to achieving sustainable development, security and stability in our continent and address the challenges it faces."
