Over 500 students have been empowered with soft personal skills, enabling them to be exemplary so that they can gain confidence and self-esteem and be useful to society and their families.

The one-day training held at Fawe Girls School, was supported by FAWE Rwanda in partnership MasterCard Foundation.

The training was facilitated by personalities from different countries, giving them tips on life skills. The Chairperson of FAWE Girls’ School Parents Association, Jennifer Mujuni, told IGIHE that they have so far achieved a lot, which they attribute to the leadership in the country that promoted gender equality, thus empowering them to enhance girl child education.

She said; "Girl education in Rwanda has been improved dramatically, most especially with the support of government. You are well aware that the government has revitalized our esteem, equality and girl inclusion in the education system,”
