President Paul Kagame has today morning arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, to attend African Green Revolution Forum in which stakeholders will discuss green development.
Renown billionaire and software magnate Bill Gates will also attend.
The forum being held for the sixth time brings together more than 1500 participants seeking the establishment of policies of promoting agriculture in Africa and investing in it to enhance improved livelihoods for millions of Africans depending on the sector.
Other expected dignitaries are; John A Kufuor, former president of Ghana; President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria; John Dramani Mahama, president of Ghana, Yoweri Museveni president of Uganda and Dr. Akinwumi Adesina ,the president of African Development Bank.
A report of Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) indicates that since 2005, agriculture in African countries was improved and reduced poverty in Ghana, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso.
After attending African Green Revolution Forum, President Paul Kagame will continue to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania tomorrow for the East African Heads of state Summit.
