President Paul Kagame and government officials have taken a moment to mourn late senator Mucyo Jean de Dieu who passed away on Monday.
The mourning has preceded the swearing in ceremony of new government officials and governors appointed in Tuesday’s reshuffle.
“I would like to join all of you, especially the senate, to mourn the recent death of senator Mucyo. He was a good leader fulfilling his duties and committed man. Let us remember him,” he said.

The mourning has preceded the swearing in ceremony of new government officials and governors appointed in Tuesday’s reshuffle.

The death of senator Mucyo shocked the nation with many describing him as a man of peace.

Mucyo Jean de Dieu passed on Monday after collapsing on stairs at the parliament buildings.
