President Paul Kagame has began his visit in Western Province of the country where he will traverse Nyamashake and Rusizi Disrticts.
President Kagame’s first stop was in the centrally located Ntendezi sector Kacyiru cell Nyamasheke district,where approximately 50,000 residents from seven surrounding sectors attended.
The president Kagame will also visit Rusizi district,home to 404,712 people and neighboring the Bukavu border.
Commonly known for its vibrant private sector, Rusizi is home to five rice processing plants, Shagasha Tea factory, 21 coffee washing station and Cimerwa the 30 years old lagest factory in Rwanda.
In Rusizi District, He will begin the day with a visit to the upcoming Cimerwa processing cement plan.
Newly acquired by SouthAfrica cement campany PPL Ltd in a deal worth $ 69,4 million , Cimerwa is n now building a plant with projected capacity of 600,000 tons per year.
President Kagame will also visit the 455 million Rwf Mashyuza Rice Mill-Sodar which is owned SOPAV-Kigali.
Following these visits, President will meet with residents of Rusizi at Kamembe Stadium.
