Rwanda’s ambassador to Germany presents credential letters

H.E. Igor Cesar, the Ambassador of Rwanda to Germany also covering the Principality of Liechtenstein, presented his Letter of Credence to His Serene Highness (H.S.H) Hereditary Prince Alois who presided over the ceremony on behalf of H.S.H. Reigning Prince Hans Adam II.
During the ceremony, Ambassador conveyed to H.S.HHereditary Prince, His Excellency President Paul Kagame’s greetings and wishes for the H.S.H. Reigning Prince Hans Adam II’s good health, happiness and well-being.

Before presenting his letter of credence to H.S.H Hereditary Prince, Ambassador paid a courtesy call on Hon. Aurelia Frick, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture of the Principality of Liechtenstein: the meeting was also attended by Ambassador Martin Frick, Director of the Office for Foreign Affairs.

Discussions between Ambassador and H.S.H.Hereditary Prince as well as with the Hon. Minister focused on commonality between the two countries and the need to establish a relation that enables the two countries reach respective ambitions.

Ambassador commended how Liechtenstein has been able to transform from an agrarian based economy into a modern and advanced economy based on the traditional values and expressed the desire of Rwanda to learn from their experience mainly in finance and education.

Both H.S.H. Hereditary Prince and the Hon. Minister commended Rwanda’s rapid development despite after passing through dark moments.

Rwanda and the Principality of Liechtenstein established bilateral relations in June 2016 and Rwanda is represented there for the first time.

The Embassy of Rwanda to Germany is also accredited to Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia Republic, Poland and Ukraine.
