The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Louise Mushikiwabo and her Swiss counterpart Didier Burkhalter have signed air service agreement opening Swiss skies to RwandaAir.
The agreements were signed yesterday in Bern city during Mushikiwabo’s visit to Switzerland as per her twitter account.
Rwanda previously signed Air service agreement with India where RwandAir operates flights.
Other countries with which Rwanda signed similar agreements include Sao Tome et Principe, Benin, Mali, Morocco and Djibouti among others.
During her visit to Switzerland, Mushikiwabo met Rwandan diaspora on Sunday and held a meeting in Geneva attended by Rwanda’s ambassador to the country Dr Ngarambe François Xavier.
Rwandan community pledged on becoming ambassadors for their country and working tirelessly for its good positioning.
