On Monday, 10 October, Tigo Rwanda handed over 16 brand new TVS motorcycles to nine distribution team leaders, thanking them for their exemplary work in ensuring that every Rwandan in the country is able to access Tigo products when they need them, no matter where they live and work.
One of the recipients was a 25-year old Shabani Nkomejekuyisenga, a resident of Nyanza District, Southern Province. The visibly overjoyed team leader has worked for Tigo Rwanda for five years.
“I was given this motorcycle because of the trust that Tigo has in my ability to distribute products in a very big area. Now I will be able to go to areas I wasn’t able to access. I am very thankful to Tigo”, Nkomejekuyisenga said while happily receiving the keys for his motorcycle.
Presiding over the handover, Tigo Chief Executive Officer, Philip Amoateng, told the gathering that he was happy to be part of the event and would continue to support the Tigo Distribution and Sales team.
“We promised to support the sales and distribution team in reaching its targets. It is in this vein that we shall hand over a total of 30 motorcycles this year alone. If you have been given a motorcycle, you should know that it is in recognition of hard work. I challenge you all to work even harder. The harder you work, the more Tigo will award you,” he assured.
