The US Holocaust memorial Museum is willing to contribute financially and participate in the preparations of the 20th commemoration of the Genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi and help in coming up with a curriculum for teaching genocide history in Rwandan schools.
The announcement was made by Bill Wasserman a Consultant at the US Holocaust memorial Museum.
Wasserman on January 10, visited Rwanda’s Commission for the Fight Against Genocide (CNLG).
The visiting consultant held discussions with Dr. Bideri Diogene principle Legal Adviser in CNLG about the preparation of the 20th Commemoration which will be held in April 2014.
Wasserman was introduced to activities of CNLG in relation to fighting against the Genocide and its ideology, different organs that make up CNLG and its attributions.
Dr. Bideri Diogene thanked United States Holocaust memorial Museum for considering the importance of collaboration with CNLG in preparing the 20th Commemoration of the Genocide against Tutsi.
