Ally Niyonzima in talks with AS Kigali

Ally Niyonzima who signed with Rayon Sports from Mukura VS this year is likely to sign with AS Kigali FC to join his brother Omar Ngandu who plays for City of Kigali-sponsored football club. According to AS Kigali FC Secretary General, Niyonzima has confirmed to IGIHE that the club is having talks with the player.

Ally Niyonzima who signed with Rayon Sports from Mukura VS this year is likely to sign with AS Kigali FC to join his brother Omar Ngandu who plays for City of Kigali-sponsored football club. According to AS Kigali FC Secretary General, Niyonzima has confirmed to IGIHE that the club is having talks with the player.

Niyozima has been training with Rayon during the preseason and was enlisted among the 25 players who will be used by Rayon Sports when the new season kicks off.
If the talks go through and the center forwards signs a deal, he will join his brother who players the central midfield for Kigali City based club. Ndandu was signed from APR FC.

Niyozima signed a two-year contract deal with Rayon at the beginning of July, but later denied that he sign any agreement with the league champions before heading to Zambia for trails with Zanaco FC, however, was unlucky because he did not pass the test. He later returned to Kigali where Rayon announced that they had signed him.

He was among the players who traveled with the club to Tanzania for the friendly match against Simba FC and was enlisted on the list of players released by head coach Olivier Karekezi on Tuesday.

If the midfielder joins AS Kigali, he will be another player to have shocked Rayon just like Dominique Savio Nshuti who left Rayon on a lucrative deal to join AS Kigali.
The others who have joined Rayon Sports from the other clubs include Jean Claude Ndarusanze from LLB Academic of Burundi, Omar Ngandu from APR FC and Frank Kalanda from Uganda.

Rayon won the 2016/17 National League title, while AS Kigali which is boosting its squad finished 4th with twenty points behind leagues champions Rayon with 73.
