Aged 23, Armanie has been in Canada for four years, for his university studies since 2016. He completed secondary school studies at Glory Secondary School. He is from Kimironko, Kigali.
In a conversation with IGIHE, Armanie said that he has been a lover of music for a long time but never finding time to join the industry.
He says, “My love for music began in the 2000s. However, as a child, I did not have capacity to do music.” He says when he arrived in Canada, he tried to do music but studies stood in the way of his passion.
As he has temporarily completed studies, Armanie says that he is going to devote himself fully to his dreams.
On the question of doing music while in the diaspora, he said, “I have a team in Rwanda that helps me. They do for me what I need to do in Rwanda. When time comes, I will move home, but even working while here, having a team in Rwanda facilitates me.”
