Three people yesterday died when the car they were travelling in sunk under floods at Nyabugogo area.

Heavy rains filled with hail storms on Saturday evening destroyed property worth millions of Rwandan francs in kigali city.

Its alleged that some people have lost their lives although no specified figures have been provided.

Several trees in the city were felled down crashing onto building and cars. Some buildings lost their rooftops.

People in several affected homes were seen collecting water from their houses in efforts to fight off sudden flooding.

Most affected areas include; Nyakabanda, Kimisagara, and Nyabugogo.
