Through his spokesman, King Kigeli V Ndahindurwa expresses his willingness to return to Rwanda while setting conditions to be followed for his comeback.

Kigeli V Ndahindurwa, the old and the last King of Rwanda living in USA, says he wants to return to Rwanda, as stated by His spokesperson Benzige Boniface speaking to the Voice of America.

Benzige explained that "The king wants to go home as he has said that for a long time.

"But, he adds, there should be clarifications showing how it will be done in good conditions. It’s inevitable, he will return, we must prepare and be assured of his safety.” Benzigye noted.

In a consultation that the king had with the Rwandan envoys headed by Pastor Ezra Mpyisi, he too was an adviser to Mwami Mutara III Rudahigwa, the King was promised three things that will help him to live better.

The Rwandan delegation asked the king to return like other Rwandan refugees and promised the pension money; provide all including domestic equipments, home, car, living money, etc.

On the side of the king, Benzigye said that he asked that his return must be publicized but also the peaceful repatriation of all Rwandan refugees living abroad.

The delegation said that the royal request will be reviewed and the results will be announced
