On September 19–20, 2025, President Paul Kagame paid a working visit to Azerbaijan. He was received with full honors in Baku by President Ilham Aliyev. As part of his program, President Kagame laid a wreath at the Alley of Honor, the cemetery in the capital city Baku where some of the country’s most prominent leaders are buried.
