On December 15, 2025, Jambo Asbl published an article which repackages the FDLR, obliterates Congolese Tutsi Lives, and calls it “truth”. That was in Norman Ishimwe’s Eastern Congo’s War: Hostage to Rwanda’s Narrative which presents itself as a sober deconstruction of Kigali’s alleged “discursive engineering.”

On July 19, 1994, Rwanda stood not on the edge of a cliff, but in the void after the fall. Under the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) Rwanda rose from ashes to resolve. The air in front of the Parliament building in Kigali was not filled with jubilation, nor song, nor cheers, but a heavy, palpable silence — the kind only the dead, and those who have seen too much of death truly understand. It was the silence of a broken country attempting, for the first time in a hundred days, to breathe.
