Commenting on the development, the lender’s Managing Director, George Odhiambo said: “We are pleased to announce that we have upgraded our core banking system to expand all digital channels and service delivery points to provide efficient customer experiences.”
T24 (Temenos 24) is a global banking system that enables customer data management and coordinates transactions across the bank’s network.
BPR Bank has transitioned from T24 Release 12 and 14 (R12, R14) to T24 Release 21 (R21)
“This upgrade is vital to our purpose of simplifying your world to enable your progress and we are confident that we shall deliver consistent, frictionless customer journeys and achieve overall market-leading performances.
Importantly, we are transitioning to our latest core banking system with the right momentum due to the commitment from our technical and support teams, who are working tirelessly to make this process a great success,” added Odhiambo.
Among many other benefits of the core banking system upgrade is that customers will now experience more functionalities, flexibility, and improved service uptime.
The bank is looking forward to continuous business growth and significant improvement in the financial aspects of customers’ lives that are envisioned for the near future.
