Covid-19:‌ ‌Rwanda‌ ‌reports‌ ‌‌31‌ ‌new‌ ‌cases‌

Rwanda reported 31 new cases of the COVID-19 from 2,043 sample tests, on Saturday, June 13; this being the highest since March when the first case was recorded.

The daily update of the Ministry of Health states that 11 patients were discharged from treatment centres after recovery.

Rusizi cluster and Rusumo continue to drive new cases. The Ministry of Health urged heightened vigilance everywhere.

Rusizi district, which is currently under lockdown, had 89 total confirmed cases in the previous update.

Rwanda has so far recorded 541 Covid-19 confirmed cases since the outbreak, of who 332 have recovered. Two deaths from the coronavirus were reported.
