The Embassy of Rwanda went above and beyond to offer a captivating experience to festival-goers. Their special program featured traditional dances and showcased a variety of Rwandan delights, including specialty coffee and high-quality "Visit Rwanda" and "Made in Rwanda" products.
Rwanda’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe and his team warmly welcomed visitors and took the opportunity to enlighten them about Rwanda’s history, culture, people, natural beauty, business opportunities, investment climate, sports events, and the impressive range of "Made in Rwanda" products, such as fashion items, handbags, and accessories from Sankoshi.
As guests savored the genuine flavors of specialty coffee from Bekske Women Empowerment Coffee, they also delved into the essence of Rwanda.
A notable highlight of the event was the partnership between RwandAir and the Embassy Festival, which led to the launch of an exciting online competition. Festival attendees had the chance to win two tickets to Rwanda, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.
Throughout the day, the Rwandan dance group captivated the audience with their spirited performances. The crowd responded with great enthusiasm, and even some brave souls joined in the dance. Additionally, a group of young boys had the opportunity to learn drumming, further enhancing their appreciation of Rwandan culture.
The Embassy of Rwanda’s participation in The Hague’s Embassy Festival on September 2, 2023, was a resounding success as it offered a delightful blend of cultural experiences, educational insights, and interactive engagements, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
