The man was reported dead on Tuesday 22nd November 2022.

Residents have told IGIHE that the man was heinously killed inside his bedroom by unidentified people who did not attack his wife in the same house.

The Executive Secretary of Kanombe Sector, Idrissa Nkurunziza has confirmed to IGIHE that the man was killed at home by unidentified people.

“It is true that he was killed inside his room. The incident happened at 1:00 a.m. but suspects are still at large. His wife was the first person to report the murder,” he said.

Nkurunziza also revealed that the man was found dead with a wound on the neck noting that his wife is held in custody as investigation is underway to track culprits behind the murder.
