The circumstances of his death have created confusion as he had gone to work the previous day with sound health.

His death was first announced in the morning of Wednesday 21st December 2022.

It is said that his colleagues realized that he missed work without known reasons and liaised with local leaders that went to his home, broke the door and found him dead inside his house.

The executive secretary of Murama Sector, Pauline Mutuyimana has told IGIHE that colleagues thought that he might have stayed at home over feeling exhausted and later decided to go to his home to see what happened.

“As they arrived at home, they looked through the window and saw him on his bed. They broke the door and found him dead,” she said.

Mutuyimana said that the man suffered from epilepsy where it is suspected that he might have died of the disease.

However, his body was taken to Rwinkwavu Hospital for postmortem.
