President Kagame appoints four senators

President Paul Kagame has appointed four new senators, including Prof. Dusingizemungu Jean Pierre, who chaired the Association for the Survivors of the Genocide against the Tutsi (IBUKA) and Uwizeyimana Evode, former Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice.

Other senators appointed are Kanziza Epiphanie and Twahirwa Andre.

These senators replaced Prof. Karangwa Chrysologue, Kalimba Zephyrin, Uwimana Consolée and Nyagahura Marguerite who had been appointed by the President of the Republic and ended their term.
