The retreat discussed various strategies aimed at sustainable development, stemming from collaboration.
A message released by the Office of the President indicates that President Kagame asked leaders to have the courage to prioritize the citizens in all their actions, aiming to help the country achieve its set goals.
The objective of this retreat, which started on Tuesday, March 19, is to examine how these leaders can further contribute to programs aimed at achieving the goals Rwanda has set for itself in terms of economic development and the well-being of its citizens.
This comes at a time when Rwanda aspires to become an upper-middle income country by 2035 and high income country by 2050.
The retreat is an event that has become customary since 2004, where leaders from various levels leave their offices to come together to exchange ideas on how to better fulfill their responsibilities.
