Rwanda’s Presidency has revealed that his visit to Rwanda includes touring both Akagera and Nyungwe national parks as part of his work with African Parks.
Rob Walton serves on the board of directors of African Parks which manages Akagera and Nyungwe national parks.
Kagame met with Rob on Monday after receiving the President of African Parks, Prince Harry.
He is a member of the Environment Program Committee of the Walton Family Foundation and is a co-founder of the Rob and Melani Walton Foundation.
According to African Parks, Rob was a founding supporter of African Parks where he provided critical start-up funding for Akagera National Park through the Rob and Melani Walton Foundation.
