Rwanda confirms 62 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health has reported that 62 people have caught COVID-19 out of 3910 sample tests bringing the total number to 27 307 since Rwanda confirmed the first case on 14th March 2020.

Of these confirmed cases, 26 254 people have recovered, 693 are active cases, 10 are critically ill while 360 have succumbed to the virus.

A total of 350, 400 have been vaccinated of whom 232, 322 received the second dose since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation programme on 5th March 2021.

Rwanda confirmed the first Coronavirus case on 14th March 2020. Since then, 27245 people have been tested positive of whom 26 225 recovered, 660 are active cases, 7 are critically ill while 360 have succumbed to the virus.

A total of 350,400 people have been vaccinated of whom 228,169 received the second vaccine shot since the country began countrywide inoculation programme on 5th March 2021.
