Rwanda records 20 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health has reported that no one succumbed to COVID-19 while 20 caught the virus out of 11 558 sample tests yesterday. The death toll remains at 1320.

The statement released last night shows that a total of 1,787,470 people have been fully vaccinated while 3,651,352 received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation program on 5th March 2021.

Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing. The virus is said to be transmitted through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.

Rwandans are urged to adhere to COVID-19 health guidelines, washing hands frequently using soaps and safe water, wearing face masks and respecting social distancing.
