Rwanda records zero COVID-19 deaths, 38 new cases

The Ministry of Health has reported that 38 people caught COVID-19 yesterday out of 7871 sample tests while no one succumbed to the virus. The death toll remains at 1332.

A total of 2,063,159 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 while 3,937,599 received the first dose of COVID-19 since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation program on 5th March 2021.

Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing. The virus is said to be transmitted through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.

Rwandans are urged to adhere to COVID-19 health guidelines, washing hands frequently using soaps and safe water, wearing face masks and respecting social distancing.
