RURA issued a statement on Tuesday, assuring that the new pump prices would remain unchanged for the next two months. These adjustments took effect on Wednesday.
RURA Director General, Evariste Rugigana attributed these revisions to the fluctuations in petroleum product prices observed in the international market. The move reflects a commitment to align local fuel costs with global trends.
The last reduction in fuel prices occurred in June when gasoline fell to Rwf1,517 per liter from Rwf1,528, and diesel experienced a reduction from Rwf1,518 per liter to Rwf1,492.
